Another Successful Fundraiser
The Jackson Firefighter’s Association (JFFA) recently concluded their fundraiser for new and upgraded battery operated extrication tools to serve the community. We began this fundraiser in November. We hoped to raise enough funds to purchase three new battery operated extrication tools to replace our 25 year old tools that the community raised money for in 1995.
In a very short period, it was clear how supportive and generous the Jackson community is! The JFFA not only reached but surpassed our goal very quickly! We thank the residents, second home owners, businesses, and other friends who helped us reach our goal. With the extra funds raised, we will be purchasing additional gas detectors and thermal imaging equipment for the Jackson Fire Department. Some of the new equipment has already arrived and been put into service. We will have a full demonstration of the new extrication tools and equipment purchased at a demonstration night in the spring. If you would like to see the tools, tour the firehouse, or have any questions, please stop by the firehouse or contact any Jackson Firefighter.
Once again, a sincere thank you from the Jackson Firefighter’s Association. We are humbled and grateful for the community support, and are proud to serve Jackson and be a part of such a special community.
Sincerely, The Jackson Firefighter’s Association
